The partner
Sudel is a private company founded in 1978, headquartered in Fasano in the province of Brindisi. It designs and manufactures electronic equipment for anti-intrusion security: Nova-line alarm control panels, wired and wireless detectors, keypads, sirens, telephone diallers, intercom interfaces and the Sudel Cloud platform for smartphone-based management.
A nearly fifty-year-old industrial company carrying forward an entirely made in Italy production line - with the tagline "Sicuro, affidabile, Sudel" (safe, reliable, Sudel) capturing the positioning well: reassurance, durability, solid engineering.
What we built together
We developed NX-TAB, the touch keypad for the NOVA X alarm control panels: a native Android app running on an 8.68" tablet that becomes the single control surface for the security system.
The work started from everyday use - arming, disarming, managing zones, reading the system's state at a glance - and extended to home automation and video surveillance integration, with the option to run other Android apps alongside it on the same tablet. One touch surface in place of the traditional panel.
